The intent is to provide a quick connection between a Biblical passage to the Talmud, the Midrash, or many of the other fascinating and authoritative works by the Rabbis of old. Therefore, in early 2012, I took it upon myself to create a reference work that would serve our community. This is when I discovered a gaping hole in The Connection between Tanach and Tradition™. Even though I have a library spanning all four walls of my office, I found I was not utilizing these books to their fullest. In my Torah studies, I always look to our Rabbis and our sages to see how we’ve historically interpreted Scripture.
